COMMITTEE’S MESSAGE 2023

On behalf of the Swan View & Districts Agricultural and Arts Society Inc, we welcome you to the 2023 Swan View Show.
After a successful return in 2022 with the help of the wonderful volunteers from Shalom House, we are looking forward to another great day in October.
So, Join us on Saturday, 7th October between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
Once again, the entry fee will be kept to A Gold Coin Donation per person for entry, so that local families can enjoy a low-cost, fun day out, with entertainment, displays, carnival rides and show bags, there also are free activities to take part in, and once again our “Golden Rock” search – there will be four special Swan View Show golden rocks to find with a special prize attached to each.
We invite community members to enter items in our Exhibition categories and wish you all the best. Home-grown and home-made is making a comeback. Past entries have been of the highest standard and our knowledgeable judges have had some difficult decisions to make in awarding prizes!
The Animals are integral to our Show, so we have some interesting animal displays, please note that dogs and/or other family pets are not able to be at Brown Park for Show Day, we trust you understand.
Our Celebrity Scone Challenge was a huge hit last year. This year, we’re challenging our local celebrities to take part in a Sponge Cake Bake off! Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see how they all go.
Naturally an event like this can’t be undertaken without the dedication of our core volunteers, generous donations and invaluable support – the local government and councillors, Hon Michelle Roberts MLA, Member for Midland, individuals, local businesses – please support them as they have supported us.
Join us at the Show on the 7th October – bring your family and friends, and have a fun filled day out, but please, leave your pets at home. We look forward to meeting you there.

Can you Help Us?
