On behalf of the Swan View & Districts Agricultural and Arts Society Inc we are looking forward to hosting the 2024 Swan View Show.
We are keen to keep our entry fee to a gold coin donation per person for entry, so that local families can enjoy a low cost, fun day out, with entertainment, displays, carnival rides and show bags. There are free activities to take part in, including the ‘Golden Rock’ search with four special Swan View Show Golden Rocks to find, each with a special prize attached to each.
We invite community members to enter items in our Exhibition categories, and wish you all the best. Home-grown and home-made continues to make a comeback, and past entries have been of the highest standard… our knowledgeable judges have had some difficult decisions to make in awarding prizes!
The animals are integral to our Show, and we have some interesting animal displays. Plus if you’d like to enter our Poultry competition, the Midland Junction Poultry Society will be on hand to help you with your entries. We’re exited to have a special ‘Silkie’ breed show as well.
Please note that given our animal displays, dogs and other family pets are not able to join us at Brown Park on Show Day, as much as we love all of our fury friends we trust that you will understand.
Our past ‘Celebrity Bake Offs’ have been a huge hit. After the 2022 Scone Challenge and the 2023 Sponge Cake Bake-off, this year we are excited to announce the 2024 Chocolate Cake Challenge! Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see how they all go!
Naturally an event like this can’t be undertaken without the dedication of our core volunteers, generous donations, and invaluable support – our Local State MP, Hon Michelle Roberts MLA, Member for Midland; the Shire of Mundaring; Shalom House, the City of Swan; Lotterywest; individuals and local businesses – please support them as they have supported us.
